We’re super excited to bring you Literally Inked - our Wild Out West pop-up bookish tattoo studio! Proudly sponsored by authors Anna Hackett and Lexie Winston, this exciting experience brings a whole new level of spicy fun for Perth readers!
Due to popular demand, we will have not one but two incredible local tattoo artists with us on the signing day. Sanni Saar and Lauren Fenlon both work out of Bittersweet Tattoo in Subiaco, and are thrilled to be joining us for this event.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Health and safety
- We have all the relevant Council and health approvals for Literally Inked.
- Our artists are professionals, and both do this for a living. You’re in good hands!
Availability and bookings
- We have limited appointments available. We realise this is not ideal, however we’re bound by space and availability of our artists.
- You will not be able to select your artist.
- If you miss out on a booking, please consider speaking to our artists about booking with them outside of the event.
- Bookings are on a first come, first served basis. Gold ticket holders will have first dibs on booking as part of their tier perks.
- The cost of a tattoo will be $125. This cost is payable at the time of booking, and is non-refundable.
- Bookings are for people 18+ only. Please bring photo ID to your appointment. Not bringing your ID may result in the cancellation of your appointment without refund.
Appointments
- We’ll create a WhatsApp group chat so that we can communicate with you on the signing day.
- We recommend you eat something before your appointment and bring a snack, as your body may experience a sugar dip. Don’t drink alcohol, or take Aspirin or other blood thinners the day of the signing. Please do not use any kind of numbing cream.
- Appointments will last about 30 minutes. Please arrive 30 mins before your appointment to help things run smoothly.
- It’s your responsibility to ensure you’re on time. If you’re a no-show for your appointment, you will risk missing out. There will be no refunds.
- Your artist will advise you about aftercare at the end of your appointment.
Artwork
- All of our artwork has been inspired by your ideas and comments in our Facebook group. We’re confident that we’ll have an awesome selection of bookish artwork for you to choose from!
- Tattoos will be smaller than 5cm x 5cm to keep appointments to around 30 mins.
- Tattoos will be placed on legs and arms only (no hands or feet). This is to allow us to keep to time.
- Tattoos will be drawn in advance. You’ll select your tattoo from the artwork available. We’ll do our best to release artwork ahead of the day, but due to artist availability that may not be possible.
- Tattoos will be repeatable. Other people at the event may end up choosing the same tattoo as you. Perfect if you want to get matching tattoos with friends, but something to be mindful of if you are after a one-off design.
- To give as many people as possible the opportunity, we can’t accommodate custom tattoo designs. You’re welcome to grab the details of our artists and book in with them for custom work outside of the event.
Refunds
- We are unable to offer refunds unless the event is cancelled by us. Please carefully consider this prior to making a booking.
